david smith died 26 june 2008 aged 49 retired due to ill health lived in walkden manchester son of catherine and the late david john brother to susan the late jane ,john and anthony the much loved husband of sandra and dear father to nicola sam mandy and carl grandfather to amy and dillon whom he idolised brother in law to janice audrey and shirley uncle to numerous nephews and nieces who all loved and miss him dearly ,sadly our dave passed away at home with his family all with him that night the angels came for him he said to sandra his dad was here and she knew it was time for him to go. he peacefully past away. he was a brilliant brother always there for me and our jane and john when we were growing up,playing tricks and messing around always laughing always made a good thing out of a bad situation seeing the funny side of life all the time never had a bad word for anyone we all miss him so much .him and his best mate bernard always talking at the fence putting the world to rights and getting eric the parrot to whistle and swear when people went passed he thought that was hilarious.Has you can see from his photo gallery he was never alone always a friend and family around him always laughing give him a microphone and he thought he was dave diamond,dave and sandra were the perfect couple well matched theres was a true love story from start to finish. I knew i would forget someone june whom he called uncle june from ireland.

this time of year is the worst as i miss your present jokes you know wrapping a massive box with a pair of socks in it. well i think that nicola has keep it going its her trick now.
me and katie are having a baby girl we are calling her Angel Mia Smith hope you like it my choice x , wish you were here to see her, she will have loved you more than anyone could have loved you. i know that you always wanted me and katie to have a baby and i just wish you could hold her.
